The Lakewood Ranch Country Club is literally the center of Lakewood Ranch, with three golf courses and a very active tennis community with 20 courts. Golf membership includes privileges to all three of its 18-hole championship golf courses, two of which are designed by world-renowned golf course architect and player Arnold Palmer. This is where I live and play since 2008!
From this land, the Uihlein Family and its developer made Lakewood Ranch into an up-scale, family-centered community with 2 stylish downtowns, A-Rated schools, and good restaurants. Lakewood Ranch currently has 17 individual villages each having different price points, builders, and amenities with properties ranging from $300,000 to over $10 million. There is something for everyone in Lakewood Ranch.
LWR is a country club living at its finest. There is so much to do in Lakewood Ranch from elite golf, to high-level tennis –there is even a Polo Club. The main private golf courses and clubs include Lakewood Ranch Country Club, The Ritz Carleton, The Concession, and Esplanade. I have lived in the neighborhood of Lakewood Ranch Country Club for the last 15 years. What I love most about where I live is the infrastructure of the communities.
The roads are smooth, and the area is beautifully landscaped. The power lines are below ground. There is wildlife that is protected within the conservation areas of Lakewood Ranch. Although I specialize in the Southwest Florida “tri-city” area (Bradenton, Sarasota, Venice), Lakewood Ranch is the “bubble” where I spend most of my downtime. Let me show you around this village that I know and love. There is a great private middle and high school in LWR called Outdoor Academy, but the Lakewood Ranch High School is also very acclaimed.
